Online banking is about to become even more secure at Capitol View. Beginning this fall, if you attempt to log in to online banking on a new device, you will need to validate that device using multi-factor authentication. This means you will receive an email or text message with a code that you’ll enter before you can proceed to your accounts.
This extra step ensures that no one but you will be able log in to your account on an unrecognized device. Never share this code with others. Capitol View will never contact you to ask for it.
1) After entering your username and password, select your preference for receiving the authentication code.
2) Open the email or text, left, and retrieve the code.
3) Go back to online banking, enter the code and click submit, and you’ll be logged in!
